In terms of display, the Tecno Y2 packs a relatively small unit measuring 4 inches diagonally. The touchscreen has a resolution of about 480 x 800 pixels, which has come to become the hallmark of budget smartphones. It should offer decent viewing, but definitely nothing out of the ordinary.
The Tecno Y2 offers a rather poor main camera of 2 megapixels. This surely does not sound like what can be trusted to deliver jaw-dropping images. I mean what do you expect from a basic smartphone like this anyway? The VGA (0.3-megapixel) selfie snapper does not give a lot to cheer about either.

While the processor might not promise awesome performance, the supporting RAM should give much needed boost to make for manageably enjoyable user experience. Integrated storage memory size is 8 GB, which you should be able to expand.
The Y2 runs on the now-obsolete Android 4.4 KitKat operating system – not overly shocking given its budget status.

The budget phone supports high-speed 3G connectivity and that is the best you get. Who will be right to expect 4G LTE support on this one anyway? It comes pre-loaded with regular apps such as Facebook, Opera Mini and Palmchat.
